Workshop Details:
This workshop introduces the fundamentals of LiDAR for archaeological applications: what LiDAR is, what it can reveal, and how it can be used in cultural resource management and research contexts. Participants will take a hands-on approach using free, open-source software to process, visualize, and interpret LiDAR data. Workshop datasets are drawn from public LiDAR repositories and emphasize local British Columbia case studies.
