Biography of Workshop Facilitator:  

Name: Abby Kainth (he/him)

Role: WorkSafeBC Prevention Officer (Occupational Safety Officer)

Department: Prevention Field Services – Psychological Health and Safety (previously specialized in Manufacturing)

Experience in current role: approx. 5 years

Interesting fact: Found my way into Occupational Health and Safety following a workplace injury in 2014 resulting in the loss of the majority of 3 fingers, required having my fingers sewn into my abdomen for a month to regrow the skin on two of my fingers.
